The impact you will create on Vinokilo

As a Head of Warehouse (m/f/d), you will lead the warehouse team and coordinate the organization of the warehouse. You will ensure that all trucks & vans are fully loaded for the events on time. You are responsible for:

• Organisation, management, optimization of warehousing, systems and processes
• Communication with external partners
• Monitor, maintain, and develop specific, executable strategies to improve product flow, productivity and quality
• Manage the day-to-day functionality of a specific area within the fulfilment operation
• Lead, direct, train and develop a team (25 people)
• Managers, communicating departmental/company standards, expectations, goals and changes
• Define, track and analyse KPIs
• Focus culture through effective communication, fair and consistent treatment, leading by example, establishing clear expectations and providing frequent and constructive feedback
• Compliance with all safety regulations 
• Long Term planning / Forecasting of needs and volumes
• Create a learning environment 
• Improving digitization and automation
• Report to the Director of Events

What we need you to have

• 3-5 years of experience of Managing Warehouse Operations
• Language skills in german and english
• Experience in being the lead for Projects with Budget and Team responsibility 
• Driving license class B
• Motivated and solution-oriented way of working
• Excellent prioritisation skills and detail oriented
• Trained on Lean Management Expert / 5S
• Trained on different warehouse software systems for warehouses
• Experience in fulfilment / shipping / inventory management
• strong written/verbal communication skills
• Able to leverage computer software to more effectively complete assigned tasks
• Takes personal pride in work quality and individual growth
