Who are we?

We are Vinokilo.

We are a growing team on a mission to make secondhand fashion more desirable than new, fast fashion. 

Our HQ is based in Bodenheim, a beautiful town in the middle of wine country, 12 km south of downtown Mainz on the edge of the Frankfurt Rhine Main-Region. Our proximity to the airport and our central European location makes us open to the world. We operate our event business all across Europe.

The impact you will create on Vinokilo

As a Country Manager Germany (m/f/d), you are responsible for managing and overseeing the German market for our event business.You will work with a team of currently 6 people as well as other company-wide departments. 

Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to expand our event business in a fast growing industry. You will be the leading part of creating one of a kind events all around the country on a weekly basis. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching of new venues
  • Planning of the event calendar and concepts
  • Managing logistics and operations
  • Management of the German team
  • Administration and compliance with the prevailing regulations and permits
  • Management of invoices from venues, refunds and collaborations
  • Collecting and managing data before and after events
  • Creating regular reports
  • Assist in expanding network of sponsors and partners through research, contact and negotiation

What we need you to have

  • Bachelors in business administration or equivalent 
  • Fluent in English and German language
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the events industry 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a position of managing a department
  • Managing and leadership skills 
  • A structured and independent way of working 
  • Planning and organizational skills 
  • Knowledge of the (secondhand) apparel industry
